Weekend hiking around Sånfjället with Tommy, 6th-8th of September 2019.. Nice views, varied terrain and weather, Sunday morning we were lucky with perfect conditions to get to the summit of Sånfjället..
After night watch at the boat club, I headed off early Saturday morning across the Åland Sea with a nice breeze to Käringsund.. A relaxed afternoon and evening in the harbour and went to bed fairly early.. Sunday offered proper conditions for the return leg, a fresh breeze with strong gale gusts.. Sirun coped well with reefed main and genoa, saw some nice speeds as we danced down the breaking waves.. Soundtrack is the song “Polaris” by Deadmau5, a current favourite..
