Sailing to Måssten, August 20th-21st

After the nightwatch shift on the boat club, me and the lady headed off on Saturday morning to Måssten, a nice island east of Singö.. It used to be a military base back in the days of the cold war era, with plenty of remains still well visible.. The rocky island offers diverse nature and many stunning views.. 

Sailing to Måssten, 22nd of July

Sunday sailing with brother Jon, to the island Måssten, a former coastal artillery base.. The cannon turrets are nowadays removed, with the holes filled with concrete.. The sea-charts shows non-existent under water rocks at the entrance to the small inlet, probably to scare off civilians from going ashore back in the days of cold war..
