Hiking, Sånfjället, Sept 6th-8th

Weekend hiking around Sånfjället with Tommy, 6th-8th of September 2019.. Nice views, varied terrain and weather, Sunday morning we were lucky with perfect conditions to get to the summit of Sånfjället..

Hiking, Kindla Nature Reserve, Oct 13th-14th

25 hours in the beautiful nature reserve Kindla, situated north-west of Guldsmedshyttan. Kindla is a 3 hours drive from Stockholm. We were lucky with mostly sunny weather and warm temperatures for the season. We entered from the parking at Kroktjärn, hiked up to Kindlahöjden for lunch and great views from the tower, and then made our way past Kindlamossen to Klosstjärn where we spent the afternoon and evening enjoying the calm scenery while having a nice fire going for hotdogs and coffee.. By noon on Sunday we were back at the starting point, nicely rebooted and ready for city-life again..

iSup, Gisslaren, Nov 7th

A lap on the beautiful wilderness lake Gisslaren in Northern Uppland on the Kona Cruiser iSUP.. Late autumn and fairly chilly but with the drysuit still quite enjoyable..

Sailing in Roslagen - Sept 26th-27th

Final sailing weekend for the year.. At the harbour club, the first batch of boats were lifted out of the water while I headed out north-west in a light breeze.. I arrived at Alnön a couple of hours later for a lazy afternoon in a nice sheltered cove.. Some food and movies and then a good nights sleep.. Sunday offered a fresh breeze from north-west so I made good pace with the genoa taking in the nice scenery in a pretty desolate archipelago..

Sailing, Roslagen, September 6th-8th

Sunny September sailing with colleagues from work and with the lady.. This time of the year the nights and mornings are fairly chilly, causing fog to roll in from the open sea.. It lifts after some hours of sun though and during the days temperature rose to around 20 C.. We anchored for the night at  a great spot on the north-western side of Fälön, very scenic and good protection from easterly winds..

Sailing, Roslagen, Sept. 21st-22nd

Last sailing weekend of the season..  Well into the autumn but again we were lucky with the weather.. We cruised in a clock-wise loop with a lunch-stop along the way up north-west to a protected inlet at Slätön.. Some nice red wine, a great dinner, a couple of movies on the iPad.. Beautiful moonlight that mirrored on the water.. Cloudy skies on Sunday morning, when we headed to Uddhamn to start emptying the boat and de-masting.. It's been a very good sailing summer, now it's soon time for some other activities..
