A short top rope solo rock climbing session on Djävulsväggen, Gåseborg. After one hour on very easy routes, rain and thunder started rolling in and I had to call it a day..

Top Rope Solo, Fullbroberget, April 25th

Another visit to Fullbroberget for some solo rock climbing, this time an early start, I was at the cliff already by 0645 and done by 0830.. I found some slightly trickier routes this time but still very smooth and relaxing..

Sunday climbing at the Ryssgraven cliff with Tommy on some easy routes, lots of people there so we had to settle with what was available, nice spring weather..

Rock climbing, Fullbroberget, April 4th

I kicked off the 2020 outdoor season with some casual top rope climbing with Tommy at Fullbroberget.. Nice sunny spring weather and fun routes.. Sweden is not in full lock-down mode (yet) and this is one sport where it is easy to keep a suitable distance to each other..

Solo Top Rope climbing, Vårdberget, Oct 31st

A sunny but chilly day at Vårdberget, Fituna, but no complaints as it's almost November.. I did some more testing on easy routes of different gear setups for top rope solo climbing - Using a Petzl Shunt plus Micro Traxion or Camp Lift, and descending with an ATC.. Worked pretty well, although at times I got some interference, so I'll fine-tune the setup of slings/carabiners to keep them separated but in the right position.. I'll complement with a rope ladder, as it was obvious that it's a bit of a hassle to switch to rappel if the rope(s) were under full tension..
