Solo kayaking weekend in the Håkansskären archipelago.. Heading out from
Rävsnäs on Saturday morning, with westerly tail winds.. The archipelago is
very calm and desolated this time of year, a true wilderness.. The sea
and air is cold but with proper gear (drysuit is a must) and close
attention to weather forecasts it can be safe and very enjoyable.. I
camped on Norrskären, and watched the sun set at 6pm and the moon rise
shortly after.. On Sunday morning, the overcast clouds put a dreamy grey blanket
on the landscape while I made my way back in a southern-western loop..
