I rented a little speedboat and went for casual freediving around Comino with two sessions on the P-31 patrol boat. Great company with Igor, his daughter, and Kamilla..

Freediving, Santa Maria Caves, Comino, Sept 2nd

Relaxed freediving with a colleague and some new acquaintances at Santa Maria Caves, northern side of Comino, Malta. Plenty of fish, lots of scuba divers, very clear and warm water.

Freediving, Comino, June 17th

Rented a small powerboat and headed with some friends from St Julians up to Comino, the little Island between Malta & Gozo, well known for the Blue Lagoon. Did some lazy snorkeling & freediving, pretty tired from the night before, and the sea was too choppy for a visit to the P-31. But nice as always to be out and enjoy the great weather.

A short freediving / snorkeling session in a Comino cave.. Nice afternoon light and very clear water.. (except for some garbage..) Still 25 C sea temperature but dropping off now when summer has ended on Malta..

Scuba Diving on the P-31 Wreck at Comino

A great Saturday with Dive Systems, taking a nice dive boat to Comino.. First dive was on the Cominetto reef, which was ok but nothing special IMHO.. Lunch & rest break in the busy Blue Lagoon.. Second dive, featured on this video was really nice though, the P-31 wreck is starting to settle in after being scuttled some years back.. Around 31C in the air and 21C in the water, summer is coming on Malta..

Scuba Diving, Malta, August 23rd & 25th

Back on Malta for work and some fun.. On Wednesday we headed over to Comino with the boat rolling on high waves, unusual weather for the season with lots of rain, wind and thunder.. Nicer weather on Friday and more cool dives.. Sites visited included Cominetto Reef, P31 Boat wreck (recently scuttled), Chirkawa Reef, Elephant Rock and the Fortizza Reef..

Scuba Diving, Comino, Malta

Scuba diving mid-week with Oxygené Divers. We headed out on a pretty rough sea (from a storm during the night in another part of the Mediterranean) and past the northern coast of Malta to Comino, the small island between Malta and Gozo. First dive was at Lantern Point, with the highlight being a number of cave tunnels on 27-30 meters of depth. Second dive was next to Blue Lagoon, shallow waters, passing under an arch, saw octopus and lots of fishes I don't know the name of..
