Kayaking, Öland, 29th of July

A sunset paddle on a very calm sea at the north-western side of Öland from Byxelkrok to the "raukar" (erosion shaped rocks) at Byrum.. After about 2 hours I arrived at destination just on time to join the crowds at the raukar to see the sun drop below the horizon..

I often go to this place in Sliema on Malta at around sunset. During the days, it is filled with sunbathers blocking my riding, but once the shadows cover the cliffs, it becomes a great playground for me! It is a challenging landscape in the size of a few football fields, just 5 minutes ride from home or the office..
